Description
I've partnered up with this stunning soon-to-be-famous girl who's working to become the next Much Music (like america's MTV) VJ, and/or a reality TV show host. I was the photographer at an event she was hosting to add to her demo reel, and she saw my work and has me now doing the photos for the DVD and case.As a DJ, I wanted to show her love of music, and so that was the theme throughout the shoot.
We turned out the lights and so only had this lit by my powerfull 580EX Speedlite bounced off the ceiling, i'm happy with how that worked out so well.

the pose is nice... but it isn't as good as the last one ... why? the background and mood aren't as good

I would avoid having the head cut the horizontal line of the "shelf" on the wall.
I would also avoid or heal those lights on the floor (behind her feet and behind the music box).
The floor vs wall looks like something is leaning.

And yah, those lights, good point. IF they were on it would have worked in this shot.

Its just the bg that needs to be taken care of..
As with such glam shots its important to maintain symmetry within the background to give it 'the' look...
U can still try to correct the bg with lens correction tech... might be still possible.
